Proposal Submissions

Oteenow Employment & Training Society enters into partnerships with other agencies to provide a broader range of youth and labour market programs to eligible participants in the greater Edmonton Geographical Service Area.

How to Submit a Proposal

Agencies or individuals wishing to provide programs designed to assist individuals in preparing for, obtaining or maintaining employment or self-employment are required to submit a comprehensive proposal to the society.

The proposal should provide a clear and detailed account of the project, intended activities, projected outcomes, and a detailed budget outlining the cost to carry out the proposed project.

Attached is a guideline package designed to assist organizations in preparing proposals for the Oteenow Employment & Training Society. Submissions can be made under one of the following program strands:

Labour Market Programs & Services

  • Skills Development Program (SDP)
  • Targeted Wage Subsidy Program (TWS)
  • Job Creation Program (JCP)
  • Self-Employment Assistance (SEA)
  • CO-OP Education Program (CO-OP)
  • Job Maintenance Program
  • Local Labour Market Partnerships (LLMP)
  • Employment Assisted Services (EAS)
  • Person with Disabilities (PWD)

Youth Programs & Services

  • Youth Internship (YI)
  • Youth Service (YS)
  • Summer Work Experience Program (SWEP)
  • Labour Market Information (LMI) initiatives

Project Duration:

Maximum duration of an agreement is one year.
