The New Aboriginal Work Force
The Aboriginal population is growing rapidly, two to three times the national average. In Western Canada it is estimated that 25 to 30% of all new entrants into the workforce will be of Aboriginal descent. With baby boomers retiring, the Aboriginal human resources pool will become a major supplier of future skilled workers. We intend to be proactive in linking our First Nations people with Alberta’s growing industry… your industry and your work place.
Training
Oteenow Employment and Training Society identifies industries where skilled workers are needed and establishes opportunities for our clients to train in these high demand areas. This is done by recruiting sponsors for projects that provide training and work experience and by accessing unique individualized training.
Candidates
If your company has need of a skilled work force, then quite possibly you should be considering First Nations personnel. If necessary, we can train eligible First Nations clients to learn the skills your company requires. All you need to do is contact us. Let's explore your future needs together.
